No. idk who Milo is, but Stephen Fry is a wealthy white celebrity who enjoys all the privileges that being a wealthy white celebrity brings. The average gay man =/= Stephen Fry. For that matter, gay men who can be vocally out and proud b/c they're wealthy and fortunate enough to live and work in a liberal area =/= the average gay man.

Milo Yabbadabbadoo is a notorious right-wing shitbag who works for Breitbart. He's basically a huge misogynist, that's his whole schtick as a "journalist." Milo Tamagotchi has also made no secret of his contempt for people who play video games, but when Gamergate kicked off he recognized it for the anti-feminist freakout it was and quickly manipulated it to become a figurehead of sorts.

It's pretty funny.

Milo is pretty comprehensively shit.

I think you should treat the ideas and arguments with respect, and you should try to extend generosity and compassion to people where possible. But there's a limit to that. You can't get me to take Milo seriously or not treat him like a joke. It's just not possible.

I look at Milo, and I look at reactions to Milo like dethtoll's above, and I honestly can't figure out which is worse. Milo for mocking the left or his haters for making a mockery of the left.

I don't agree and I kinda don't like that argument because it can be so easily turned into a "Privilege doesn't exist" Like most of the people running thee world are rich white men, but by the logic of your comment, that doesn't mean that all men are privileged. Yes the rich always have more power, but that doesn't mean that the none rich are acceptable people.

Every man is a part of male supremacy, just like every gay man benefits from the social privilege people like Fry and Yiannopoulos buy them.
