Lots of anime are gross about women. Ghost in the Shell is known quite well for being one that is not.

Literally the only thing I remember from that movie is that they managed to shoehorn Kusanagi's boobs into EVERY SINGLE SHOT, no matter how awkwardly. They were fucking dedicated to those boob shots.
Gross in my book.

Go watch the movie again, because that literally doesn't happen. There are like...two scenes in the entire movie where you see full-on boob for even a moment. And it's not even sexual.

You're remembering incorrectly and screaming at people about it. That's ludicrous.
