What women have to go through doesn't compare to men, however gay men's sexuality is absolutely policed, they're forced to desexualize to appeal to the het majority, straight women feel entitled to their friendship like they're a glorified accessory for them to wear, gay men are driven to think they're ugly by virtue of being gay and "feminine", by straight society which includes women. Again, not minimizing how lesbians are exploited by straight men but gay men aren't without shit behavior from straight women either.
