Spreading the "men almost never get raped or molested" meme helps erase male survivors, thereby forcing them to suffer in silence, and perpetuating the culture that created them in the first place.

And you would not be pretending to need that explained if we were talking about female survivors, and you know it.

Also spreading the 40% of rapists are women meme frames womens sexuality, which is already condemned by society, as dangerous.

If people start accepting the possibility of female rapists, when a woman who is raped she will then have the added difficulty of her rapist turning round and claiming she raped him. This is not something we have to worry about now, but if we let men have that power, you fucking know rapists will use it to get away with hurting women and honestly I would rather have that tiny tiny fraction of male rape victims never taken seriously than give every rapist yet another chance to get away with rape.
