I'm a Frank Castle fan from the comics and the Punisher War Zone movie. Does the "Daredevil" version of Castle come close to those (and, of course, if you've never read the comics, does disregard the question).

This is the best on screen adaptation of Frank Castle as far as I know. That is what most fans if the comics have been saying. Honestly, just watch the first four episodes of Season 2. Frank is fantastic in them. Jon Bernthal deserves an Emmy for his performance.

I've read em (the Garth Ennis run was my shit) and I also thought the War Zone movie was the only thing that previously came close. The show straight up did AMAZING with him.
