I think canon Sam and Dean would both choose the latter of those two options, rather than have sex with each other.

But yeah, you're probably right. I /think/ you could make it work with Dean and Cas or something though. Bonus points if it's Sam who dies instead of Dean. Then I think Dean would definitely go for it.
