Most Batshit Fandom Ever?

For my money, it would be the Supernatural fandom. But I was only in the shallow end of the pool o'crazy that was Harry Potter, so maybe I'm biased?

Has someone who has been in both compare the relative guano levels?

Or has someone been in a fandom that's been even crazier?

I was there for the Potter fandom shenanigans, FF7, seen the dark side of Supernatural, GoT, Sherlock... Twilight and Robsten shippers are also pretty strong contenders...

but all pale in comparison to One Direction

never have I seen such fuckery elsewhere

(and to answer your first question: Potter fandom is more passionate, but Supernatural is worse because they dgaf about canon so pretty much anything goes... it's like the SPN characters are just a vessel for their needs and wants and nothing more)
