So did I anon, so did I.

That season's pacing was pretty terrible but you know what? I liked the Leviathans and Dick Roman as a villain. Having a very corporate (for lack of a better word) enemy that played into humanity's love of consumerism (while being rather consumerist in the very literal sense) was something different and if I feel that the show would be better if every season took a gamble like that one.

I still watch Supernatural and I'm rather fond of it but the series now feels very 'safe' to me. The best example might be the end of season 9. An absolutely fantastic finale that ends with Dean becoming a demon. Now, it was obvious he would be cured at some point but the possibilities were very exciting and it was a hell of a cliffhanger. Enter season 10 and the whole thing kind of fizzles out and things go back to the status quo. The latest seasons have some good ideas behind them but always seem too afraid to explore them. But hey, maybe the next few episodes will prove me wrong.

I'll join you on the Leviathan train. I really enjoyed season 7.

I was expecting all of Season 10 to be demon!Dean. Instead we get three lousy episodes.

(We had soulless!Sam for half a season, and it was AWESOME.)
