Oh :( I'd imagine he'd also tell this to Galadriel when he went to her with the Three and had to admit she was right about there being something shady about Annatar all along. And she was like, torn between "I told you so" and "wow yeah I know how you feel" and "oh god I hope *I'm* not anything like Feanor."

Oh yes. Of course, the fact that he went to her at all and gave up the Three means he's really not like Feanor who would never have counseled with anyone (except his sons) and would never give a creation away willingly.
