So many unanswered questions. How old is Legolas? Does he have siblings? What was Elladan and Elrohir's ultimate choice? What happened to Thranduil? Where/when was he born? How are he and his dad Sindarin "princes"? What happened to Daeron, Maglor, Nimrondel, etc? What was the name of [insert almost anyone important]'s wife?

And so on and so forth...

Right at the start of the book a character is unbirthed.

My favourite characters always have a habit of dying on me in almost all of my favourite shows/games, so.

I wish the Second Age was covered a bit more, particularly with Celebrimbor and Eregion.

I wish there were no Buffy or Angel comics. Things ended on a high and they had to go and ruin it.

I wished they hadn't tried to push Doctor/Rose so much in series 2-4. And I wish Ten had been a little less human and a little less obnoxious. And most of all I wish Donna had gotten a better ending.

Deus Ex Invisible War is so bad it killed the franchise for 8 years.

I really love the movie 'Pride', but I am occasionally bothered by the fact that there's one noticeably non-white person in the whole thing. Standing in a crowded bookshop. No lines.

I love my Elder Scrolls games (don't ask which is my favourite, I have no idea) but goddamn those glitches drive me up the wall. At least it's training me to save more frequently into multiple files.
[I'm also not a big fan of the mages/companions/thieves/brotherhood questlines in Skyrim, because there wasn't enough sense that I was actually progressing in the organisation before I got put in charge - it was more like, 'Shit, the boss is dead, who can we put in charge? How about the adventurer, at least they won't die straight away.']

This will sound heretical, but I can't stand the Sweet Bro Hella Jeff parts of Homestuck. And no, I already know it predates Homestuck itself somewhat, and was part of how Hussie figured out some of Homestuck's plot points.

I get that Paprika was going for the same "confident woman in control of her own sexuality" thing that Bayonetta always gets praised for, and for the most part, it works. But something feels wrong to me about the scene where the title character flirts with the old guy to get close enough to force him out of the dreamworld. Even with the subversive twist in the end, it still puts Paprika in a position of submission for a bit, and not like the scene where she's captured and out of options. It felt like there were multiple ways it could have gone that were more in line with her usual style.

The last fight in Pacific Rim. It's a two Jaeger, three Kaiju fight - it would be so cool to watch if it wasn't in these murky underwater depths. The fight's so difficult to track.

The majority of Act 6 of Homestuck. The beginning drags, I don't like some of the plots with the alpha kids (especially romance plots), and I dislike all the dancestors besides Meenah and Arenea. Oh, and it is too fucking long.

It doesn't really pick up until John gets retcon powers and Arenea hijacks the ring of life. Then Game Over happens and it's good again! But then it goes into Vriska going blah blah blah about plans and every sits around and talks and it starts going downhill again...

Oddly enough I'm not really salty about Act 7. I'm pretty sure most of that is because it's so visually stunning.

Supernatural: I hated the episode "Bugs" (except for Dean and the Steam Shower" and the gradual Flanderization/Woobification of Castiel has made him a lot less interesting. Also, I'll never get over Ellen and Jo. (Though I understand; they thought they were writing the final season when they killed them off.)

Doctor Who: I feel like the Fourth Doctor's run went on just a little too long. (Blasphemy, I know.) Also I don't like either the Tenth Doctor or the Eleventh Doctor very much. And while I liked Rose in S1, S2!Rose and the 10/Rose pairing made me really dislike the character. Also, I'll NEVER be okay with Donna's ending.

Pirates of the Caribbean: WHY DID YOU KILL OFF NORRINGTON!?

Star Trek: Into Darkness

Star Wars: The Prequel Trilogy (So much potential. So little actual use of it.)

Lord of the Rings movies: what Peter Jackson did to Denethor.

Star Trek: TNG is so solid on the whole, holds up even today, but goddamn Sub Rosa should never have existed. Holy shit that is the worst episode in all of Trekdom.

When the Spares get Paired. Most of the time it's forced, and quite obvious that the writers just shoved them together regardless of personality or chemistry. You don't HAVE to pair everyone up, you know. It's okay to leave a few characters without a partner.

The author keeps using rape as a plot device/easy way to give female characters issues and send male characters off the deep end.

That there weren't really any references to the predecesor series until season 2, mostly because of in-fighting among the production team. I mean, I'm grateful that we eventually got references to it and even got a couple characters from the prior series showing up (one with a lot of bad-ass villainy).
