Uh...what is boobsocking? Hitting people in the tits? I googled and nothing but porn sites came up so I couldn't click a link.

Pff, less violent than that. It's when artists draw a shirt as being molded to the body, curving around the boobs so that the only way it could actually work is if there were a separate "boob sock" built into the shirt. Some examples here (SFW).

Boobsocking is when a woman is drawn with her clothing fitting to her chest in "socks" around each tit, which real clothing basically never does. Basically drawing clothes as if they were body paint.

It pops up to some degree in 3D art, where I understand how it happens mechanically. It can sort of happen in loose, stylised cartoons without being a problem. It's when something is drawn in great detail and the clothes don't make sense that it's incredibly dumb.

Ohhhh, thanks, lol! I'm actually kind of relieved I was wrong, tbh!

When clothing tops magically and perfectly outline both breasts separately, such that the top would presumably need pockets or "boobsocks" sewn into them to fit that way.
