He's also the reason Kano is Australian now! "Originally the character of Kano was Japanese-American. However, Ed Boon and John Tobias were so impressed with how Trevor Goddard portrayed him that they retconned Kano's history in future games to make him Australian, which they thought was Goddard's nationality. They later learned that, although Goddard gave Kano an Australian accent, Goddard himself was actually born in England but had claimed to be of Australian descent."

There are other stories that claimed Goddard was trying to do a Cockney accent and it was mistaken for Australian, but... yeah, no.

(Also, holy crap - he was in the first POTC movie as Grapple, the pirate that goes "Say goodbye!" before getting walloped by the sign.)

Woah, that's actually pretty cool! I hope they kept his "Ello Baybay" from the movies because that was pretty iconic/hilarious. And I went to search for a bid of this Cockney guy and woah, he looks completely different there!

Also this reminds me of how Michelle Pfeiffer playing such an iconic Catwoman that they turned the BTAS Catwoman into a blonde because of her.
