do you know how tumblr works? genuine question

if you don't follow anyone who's obsessed with chris-chan, or go through his tags, you're unlikely to stumble onto him or his art
catch what I'm saying?

furthermore, I don't know anyone who reblogs art they don't like (without making it a point to say how bad it is)
if the art OP used in the secret was disliked, OP would have had to go out of their way to find it (just... why?), and if others shared OP's opinion, there would be no need for this secret

You say that about Chris-chan but that's also the case with fanart associated with a show and then it gets notorious enough that more people know about it. I never sought out anything involving Chris-chan but my friend showed me his stuff and there's sometimes threads on /co/ for his Sonichu comic, so yes, it's easier to stumble upon things you don't go and seek out than you think.

Sometimes people do seek out bad art (for lulz usually) and sometimes people are blind as shit or have no standards or taste, but considering the reaction to the Kill la Kill fanart, it's obviously known because it's bad. And you ask why they sought it out? You seriously have to ask why when it's in the secret being used as an example (I just answered your why btw)?
