That does sound good...hmmm...we have excellent fish tacos here!

Given a choice I'm always up for some Viet or Thai or Japanese. Korean BBQ if I'm feeling particularly peckish.

Malaysian food.

Mexican

All the fucking pasta.

Thai. Always Thai.

Pineapple curry does sound good. With crispy basil rolls to start. And a glass or two of Chardonnay.

The problem with Thai is it's never real Thai.

Where are my whole fried fish piled with massive amounts of fresh garlic and chiles and mint? Where are my plates of vegetables?

No, it's always some greasy mess of noodles that tries to be "pad Thai" and a weak, sad excuse for green curry.

My city doesn't even have a poor man's Thai place. We have a million and one restaurants, and not one of them is Thai.

I talk shit about Virginia Beach, but it did have lots of ethnic restaurants.

Fish and chips. Greasy as hell, but damn good.

Or if you really can't bring yourself to eat something greasy, Vietnamese rice-paper rolls with plenty of fresh salad vegetables in them. Make it three or four of them and you get a good-sized meal.
