Anon above you said 'most' and I'll take accept that qualifier. There are some batshit feminists out there but I'm pretty sure a good amount of those superloons are just trolls having "fun". I'd say the same thing for a lot of MRAs. They just like saying shit to make people mad and don't practice what they preach. To me, that's even shittier than believing such things because it puts the idea into other people, especially young folks who don't know any better.

I get the feeling you're trying to say that's not the case, but it is.

Real feminists (Not "Real feminist^tm" I mean people who hold actual feminist views) would not ever want a victim of sexual abuse to be harmed by anything. If we have 1 goal it's to protect women who have been abused and raped. That is literally the most important thing real feminists can be doing, and if it comes down to a choice between supporting positive woman friendly media, or helping real world victims, it's not even a choice for a real feminist.

You might think that, but sadly, in reality there are a lot of people who believe themselves Real Feminists with feminist views who still behave terribly towards survivors etc. - so even if you say you don't mean to conjure up a tartan waving in the wind, you did just that.
