I don't care about the fact they're addicts. I care that Mel Gibson is an abusive dump in the underwear of humanity and RDJ keeps trying to cover up the stench. Plus I just don't like either one of them as actors, either. The fact they're both terrible people is just another reason to avoid their films for me.

And Gibson has not improved any. You can only "let a guy work" for so long before you have to face the fact he's an absolute fuckpuddle and doesn't deserve your respect or friendship. Gibson surpassed that point years ago, and RDJ still keeps covering for him.

More to the point, I can despise them for any reason I want and you're not going to change my mind. Quit while you're treading water.

Thank you. This is literally all I do. I just...don't watch their films. I couldn't stand Gibson long before his drunken tirade because I just don't like his acting; being an anti-semitic domestic abuser gives me more and better reasons to avoid him. RDJ is in the same boat; I never liked his work, and his vigorous defense of the aforementioned anti-semitic domestic abuser long after he's been given a fair shake to clean up his act is just another reason not to watch his films.

Apparently, that's oppression of some kind. Somehow. I'm still getting "nasty piece of work" printed on a t-shirt someday.
