Is couples therapy or seeing a sex therapist a viable option?
I promise you, you're not the first couple to go through a thing like this.
I think it's great that you can talk to each other, most couples going through a rough patch don't even have that. This time it just went south. You seem to have trouble with coming up with what you really wanna say and he seems to be holding back (and vice versa), which is why a therapist would be perfect.

For starters, I think it would help him immensely to know why you want to have sex with him. You wanna get off, and you need intimacy for that to happen; a working penis would be great, but not a necessity.
And hell yeah, there ARE other options than just p in v sex.
