He was the worst part of BvS for me... he felt so out of place and I'm not sure if his character was supposed to be a neurotic or just insecure?
Like, not once did it cross my mind that "yes, Jesse Eisenberg's character is a foil to Senator Finch" despite everything that went down.
DC has always had iconic villains and he just fell flat. The fucking mobster men in TDKR felt more fleshed out than him.
