Why do people who find it disturbing for whatever reason have to be all, "not that there's anything wrong with that" though. Shouldn't there be room somewhere in this great seething internet for some people to be disturbed by, frankly, common tropes where abuse=love? These matters are literally life and death irl.

Fantasy is not equal to reality...But many fantasies are disturbing and rightly so to some folks. You don't need to be attacked...But no one owes you support for something they find genuinely disturbing.
