Re: DC comics still protecting serial abuser Eddie Berganza

What did he do?

Not that I'm challenging you on this, I totally believe you that he's a serial abuser, I just want details.

Basically if you worked at DC at any time in the last fifteen years and were female, then Berganza has had his hand up your skirt and down your cleavage.

There's a long history you can find easily with Google, the most notable instance being one that apparently took place in public at a con. It's essentially been an open secret in comics for years.

He's a serial harasser and has straight up groped women. He'll even do it at corporate gatherings.

When they were kind of dancing around naming him I thought it was Scott Lobdell based on his behavior at a con a couple years ago, but apparently even Lobdell has his limits. Though Berganza's position explains SO MUCH about the direction Superman's been going for the last several years.

If you don't know the details why would you believe he's an abuser?

I mean, he is, absolutely. He's complete scum and needs to be gone, but if all you know is his name and someone online thinks he's an abuser, you really ought to look into things before jumping on the band wagon.

Your post is exactly why we still live in a pro-rape culture.

Only we don't, actually.
