I mostly hate my progens. They have no use in my lair anymore. I've scattered them several times and nothing I've gotten fits. The only reason I still have them is because you aren't supposed to exalt them and can't sell them. They are just taking up wasted space.

Totally exalt them! You won't get any profit from it, but honestly I don't see why there's this perception that it's so terrible if you boot 'em off. They aren't inherently better than any other dragon, just slightly more useless.

If you hate your progens, it might work best for you if you exalt them. When people say "don't exalt your progens" they usually mean right away. As newbies don't often fully understand their tastes yet, so they might end up liking a gene combination and/or breed on their progens that they might not have liked at first. (I really regret exalting my progens' first offspring for that reason. As I now can see possibilities for what I could have done with her. Oh well.) If you have no emotional connection to them and don't like anything you can do with them, then it's not like they are doing anything for you. You can always get gen ones to act as your progens if you really decide you want some later.
