Damn, I have to make some myself, because nothing beats a great double batch of chili. One half for the next meal, and one for the freezer.

I made cranberry scones with orange glaze. The glaze was the best part!

They were fantastic. I doubt they will last until tomorrow because my family keep eating them bit by bit.

The orange glaze is what brought them to a whole new level. And it was soooo easy (3/4 cup powdered sugar, 2~ tbsp of fresh squeezed orange juice, 1/2 tsp of orange zest).

I got a new stylus for my iPad so I've been sketching a bit. I'm not very good, but I do think it's fun to draw. I was quite happy with this one though even if it isn't cleaned up or anything:

I've been baking a lot lately, most recently a butter golden cake with chocolate buttercream icing. I'm also almost done with chapter four of my Pokemon/Voyager crossover, having been steadily working on it for the past couple of months, and I'm almost done with my short story about a very unusual vampire queen.

Loose covers for my sofa! It took some careful work including dyeing some extra cloth with tea because I hadn't got quite enough I n the right colour. But I'm so pleased with my new-look sofa!

I made a poor financial decision and bought me Transformers Prime on DVD. No regrets!

Food wise, I'm going to make home-made Mac 'N Cheese tonight for dinner, with either bacon or hamburger in it.

A coworker made me a cute friendship bracelet, and in exchange I made her some barrettes out of crocheted roses and needle-felted leaves.

I am currently working on a comic about Phineas Gage.

...then I discovered my new art program (MangaStudio) has rainbows, hearts, and sparkles brushes and this happened.

Yeah, MangaStudio is a new thing! An anonymous benefactor fan gave it to me, and after five years of making comics in GIMP, it's like a whole new experience. MangaStudio is pretty much everything I ever wanted in an art program, and I can't stop gushing over it! I love it so much and am so happy my benefactor gave it to me.
