No it's not harsh. The Sousuke plot dragged the second season down and I hate it when people decide to be emo instead of just saying what the problem is. He could have told Rin, they could have had a moment, and bam, done. Instead they had to drag out the fact that he was hiding his injury. I have a low tolerance for bullshit, basically.

Actually I hated Harry in OotP on my first reading and thought he was being whiny and upon reading it years later, I didn't see it anymore and stopped hating his attitude in the book.

Yes well, people hate real people too.
