If I can't tell it's fandom and all the people freaking out over it can't tell it's fandom, the reference is too vague, I think.

Well, obviously, if the mods didn't know and a lot of us had no idea, we couldn't see what it was really referring to, now can we?

Do you not know and the mods not know because they don't watch Supernatural, maybe? I don't have any idea what a lot of secrets are about because I don't watch any anime or play video games.

I heard about the show, but I don't watch it, so I had no idea what it meant.

As for the other secrets, anime/video game secrets make up most of the community so of course we'll have more recognition with that.

I know most of the community is anime/games secrets, but I don't think it is fair to call a place "fandom secrets" and exclude fandoms that a person isn't familiar with.

That's the thing, though - the mods couldn't tell it was fandom. They make mistakes sometimes. And I'm pretty sure if it was posted properly, and as the comments show a lot of us wouldn't know about it, there would probably be a huge freakout, y'know?

The people who are freaking out obviously have never seen Supernatural. Maybe this community should split into two parts: shows that the mods watch and shows the mods don't watch or whatever. I don't understand how someone could possible know that everything that came through was fandom, which is why myself and others replied that it was indeed fandom.

Exactly, but they had no idea it was fandom hence why it's in the not!fandom portion. I can understand where you're coming from, though.

Typical, the only fandom I'm part of is counted as 'Not!Fandom'

I feel so alienated and repressed.

I don't watch Supernatural but I figured out it was a Supernatural secret anyway. I had a vague memory of somebody's mom being on fire.

(I don't blame the mods for not knowing though. Anyway, they fixed it now.)
