Fans have a very specific fantasy of self-inserting as the one and only super-kid who has the best Digimon and gets the hot girl, and any deviation from that fantasy leads to shrill ranting.

Glad to see a lesbian relationship on OUAT, but I admit, I kind of hoped Ruby and Mulan would get together. (I'm way behind and don't plan on catching up, but I've seen gifs of them together and they look like they'd be a cute couple.)

I haven't watched OUAT since season 3. That said, I've got no problem with Red/Dorothy.

(Well, okay, no problem with them being a couple, but plenty of other problems, like their being given part of one episode to develop, likely never to be seen again, and that they're being used as "lol shut up gays you got what you wanted now bring on the Captain Swan TLK," and ffs, let Mulan be happy, the only reason I'm glad she wasn't paired with Ruby is that at some point Aurora and Philip are totally gonna go questing for her and bring her home to be part of their happy polyamorous triad...) but Ruby/Dorothy? Cool. I wish they'd had more than a day together before locking lips, but OUAT's writing is abysmal and it could easily be retconned that they'd spent years together due to a time warp or some shit, wouldn't be the first time.

And I have a whole slew of problems with the probable upcoming Hook/Emma TLK, and I'd say that's gonna cheapen the concept like nothing else, even though Swan Queen is one of the few Emma pairings I don't ship and my preference is for solo Emma.
