I like him--especially in season 4. I understand why people don't like him, though.

What made him your favorite?

I could like him more, but he's just so damn Sorkin-y

that's partly just because he was also on Sports Night of course

What makes him particularly Sorkin-y, compared to the other characters?

(I've never seen Sorkin's other shows so I don't know if there's a more distinct Sorkin pattern I'm missing...)

I think I'm really mostly thinking of the way that the actor delivers lines, more than anything about the character specifically, to be honest.

I fucking loved that storyline with him and the doomed campaign of fail with a dead candidate. It was seriously just...idk how to describe why I loved it so much.

I like him. There are really only a few characters on TWW I genuinely don't like. I think the way he was introduced and all the stuff that happened later on (in the show and behind the scenes) meant he got lost in the shuffle a bit. All the others were pretty well defined by then but IMO he never really got a moment to shine the way they had. Because S5 was bad all around and by S6 there were boatloads of new characters.

I love Will. I agree with the above poster that his character was underdeveloped, but I always preferred his Toby interactions over Sam's. But then, Sam is my least favorite character, so there's that, too.

Oh god yes! Will was so much more interesting than Sam. I really loved the Will Sorkin inteded him to be.
