I mean, you REALLY can't blame the fandom for sexualizing Black Butler when the mangaka is a massive fucking shotacon and actually wrote a hardcore shotacon doujin under a pen name that was very similar to what eventually became Black Butler.

The mangaka subtly puts all her weird-ass kinds into the manga such as Ciel cross-dressing, weirdly sensual poses with him and Sebastian, and other things. Obviously, she can't go TOO far because this is a shounen manga, but you can tell that she wants to.
