Jw, have you been paying attention to what's been happening to female characters lately? Not just Abbie?

It's a huge deal because she's not the only prominent female character to die suddenly and without real purpose, and people are rightfully alarmed. (Vikings, Empire, Arrow, The 100, The Americans and iirc The Walking Dead... and the news about Castle are not helping)
There are other ways to leave a show without going the fridging route.
