I've been in the Final Fantasy fandom for so long that seeing Star Wars fans struggle with Roman numerals is like going back in time 20 years.

It didn't sound appealing to me at first but the trailer has gotten me excited. I like worldbuilding and expanding on what we already know (it's one of my favorite things to read in fanfiction). This particular story wouldn't have been my first choice but I've been warming up to it. I too hope it does well and there are lots of stories set during the Luke/Leia/Han era. I do like the Jedi's but it hits my nostalgia to see stuff that fits into the OT movies. I also hope there's some stuff that bridges the OT with this new trilogy so we can see the formation of Kylo and the government, etc. (if they're not in flashbacks in the new trilogy).

Basically, I like to see how they manage to tell a story inside the constraints of the story we already know.

I'm looking forward to it as well! I just hope none of the movies are weak like the prequels were.

It looks great and I agree, more side stories!

I just hope the main lady has more personality in the film than she did in the trailer. All of her lines sound like she's dead inside.

YAS! I'm excited because of what it means for the Star Wars movies, not this movie specifically. (Honestly it looks too dark for me to enjoy it, but I'm so excited for more movies! Even if some are hit-or-miss, yay!)

I couldn't care less about this tbh. The dialogue seems so cringey.

Same goes for the Han movie. Disney needs to stop churning out films the majority of people don't want and instead work on an Obi-Wan movie featuring bby Luke.

Let's see. Ford is way too old to play pre ANH Han. Ingruber can play Ford magnificently. If Disney were being smart, they'd get him.
