If it helps, in our country they're worse than separatists, they're Confederates.

(Yes, I know, show is set in future and explores Western tropes in a context divorced from their problematic origins. I know that because I have to keep reminding myself of it when I watch the show, because otherwise I start thinking "Hold on, these are fucking Confederates!")
