Oh! I assumed it was fanart going by the colouring style, but that's cool to know! I'm surprised there isn't more official game-specific boss collages.

There was that one Valentine image that they tweeted out of Archie and Maxie's cards in a heart shaped folder... I still can't figure out if they were trolling us or if they really wanted us to ship it (I made a secret about it at the time). But even then, it's still just those two.

They're sloppy when it comes to the bosses. Remember when Giovanni was in generation 5 and they only reused his gen 3 art for him?

The BW 1 or 2 area that let you match up with various characters from previous games? I might have heard some complaining about that? I've not played any of the games since Diamond though, besides X which I only picked up last year, so I'm not up to date on official artwork and game assets outside from what I hear from others.

Yeah. In the promo art, Giovanni's art was from two gens previously, and it showed. The art style was noticeably different from everyone else.
