not much. I like mustard okay but in general I get squicked by "different kinds" of food touching. so, a wet/soft food like a condiment on a sandwich feels weird; likewise I don't like chocolate strawberries or caramel apples cuz it's a "dessert" food overlaid with a "not dessert" one. I used to hate caramel corn, too, and still lowkey distrust it. same reasoning I really can't do salad dressing; it's a "slimy" food with a "solid" one and my brain flips out.

on the other hand I love cold spaghetti sauce on hot pasta and raw carrots while hating cooked ones so I might just be weird.

Heh! That's interesting. I really love food combos that have multiple textures side-by-side - I love chocolate-dipped strawberries, ice cream with sprinkles or chocolate chunks, sandwiches with a variety of textures, and that's a big part of why I love those foods.

Ironically, I do not like mustard. I can tolerate a little bit of dijon mustard in a cooked dish, but mustard as a condiment does not appeal to me.

Hrm. Are you hyper-sensitive to the smell of raw tomatoes? Does eating them make you physically ill?

Because that sounds similar to me, and if you're like me, you might be mildly allergic to raw tomatoes - cooking or processing them denatures the proteins, which is why you're fine with those.

But yes. Raw tomatoes are absolutely vile.

I actually agree with you about raw tomatoes. I like tomato byproducts -- sauce, soup, ketchup -- but actual chunks of tomato? Fuck that.
