yes and yes, anyway. I have opinions, man.

Yeah, I RPed porn with a friend one time over AIM (remember those days?), and she liked the scene so much she wanted to post it on her journal. I said OK, and all our friends went crazy over the parts I'd written and said nothing about her parts. And she got butthurt, which I understand, but it wasn't my fault, and I got pissed off she made such a big deal about it because I'd done the whole thing just for kicks, and she was the one who insisted we post it for general consumption.

I've gotten into a few fandom arguments online, but my first one happened in real life because my friend and I couldn't agree on Yugi's hair color (it's black, blond, and purple, damn it!).

Yes. With my boyfriend We disagree in things. I think we fought over spoilers once, and over Age of Ultron.

Which side did you take re: AOU

Basically I feel like the Clintasha thing (not the ship itself, but the wa it was written) is basically a character assassination on both of them (but especially Nat), but he thinks it's sort of good and the polarities/similarities work in the film.

We both hate the farm, though.

my fiancé has this theory that all of AOU is actually from Tony's POV, so things that don't make any sense can be explained by the fact that Tony doesn't pay any damn attention

was that clint's wife or his sister? were they on a farm or just in the burbs? are nat and bruce dating or just bros? tony sure isn't sure

Clint didn't have a character to assassinate before AoU though. Then again, I like Clintasha as a friendship but hate it as ship so I was cool w/everything that happened between them in AoU.

One of my best friends is a diehard Cap fan; my fiancé is a diehard Iron Man fan. I am slated to see CW with both of them.

People calling me homophobic for not wanting to read slash fic for a pairing.

1) They were assholes; you're allowed to just like gen. I hate it when people tell you how to fandom, and frankly, it was hard enough figuring everything out without being treated like that.

2) I like some slash now and I *am* less homophobic these days, but I still don't like that pairing.

Who here hasn't, on some level? I know I've had screaming matches with people in Thief fandom, though to be fair they were being shrieking, moronic children acting like the mere existence of a 4th game was a personal insult.
