Re: Changes in adaptations that you like

I like most of those changes you mentioned. However, I still wish Sara's intelligence had come across. A huge part of her character is that she's the smart girl. Also, I hated the changed ending (except for the removal of Becky becoming Sara's servant, though at the time the book was written that was actually a good ending for Becky). I didn't like that the father was still alive and all the added scenes with him. And I thought the change of settings to New York and a later time period was stupid.
