14. I've tried that, too. The very first convention I went to, I ended up kind of sort of being with someone, but it turned out that he kind of had a girlfriend already and I was the "other girl", and things got really really nasty from there.

Every con I go to, I hope to find That One Person, but I've been to ten of them and it hasn't happened yet. I think I got jinxed or something.

Gar basically means that they're so manly that straight dudes will go gay for them. It comes from a typo someone made where accidentally said he was 'Gar for Archer' from Fate/Stay Night.

Ooooh, okay, gotcha. I thought it was a fandom thing because I mostly see it used in reference to Gurren Lagann or something. XD

The reason you mostly see it in relation with Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann is that TTGL is a goddamn REPOSITORY of the GARest characters ever.
