If you're actually serious, then I have to say I agree. Fat is a health problem, and not something people should support.

I agree, and well... I've had health problems that remained unchecked until this last year, which have proved to be the problem for why I can't lose the weight when I try. >_>

Not only that, but morbidly obese people are less likely to be diagnosed with those types of problems when they have them, because too many doctors think of them the way the OP does, and don't want to deal with them because of the disgust. Plus, some test results and medication doses get royally fucked up by extra weight, and surgery is several times more risky with a longer recuperation time and more complications.

As a non-native English speaker... I agree with you, actually. ;) Some languages have small fandom presence because people either aren't fannish, or they read/write English and hang around the larger English fandom.

The only way to get a fandom in one's own language is to start it. It takes work and time and it may never be as large as English-speaking fandom, but eventually it works.

We warn for rape, we warn for blood, we warn chan and other major squicks, why the hell would manips not deserve a warning? Just because it may not be your squick doesn't mean that it isn't a common major one and warnings aren't needed.

Especially since "Pic" can mean a drawing, a cartoon, or a screen-cap. Ditto fanart. The only that unequivocally tells your audience it's a manip is by calling it a Manip -- prominently, so that they won't accidentally click thinking it's one of the other 3.
