75. Feminism isn't about the woman always being right or powerful or strong or on top - it's about women being equal to men. So if you want to read fic where Godot pounds Mia into the bed, then more power to you (because that's kind of hot). Powerful women can be squishy and girly sometimes, too.

HAHA YEAH - I'm probably one of the girliest people I know, love magical girl shit, wear pink all the damn time, have a pink iPod, and am also probably the biggest feminist I know.

I think people have bought into the backlash that all feminists want to castrate all guys and think all men are rapists and that women should run the world and abolish sex-segregated bathrooms (I've actually heard this). Even if they don't actively believe this, a LOT of people seem to have this misconception (even people who'd otherwise be feminists, if they knew what it was really about).

GUESS WHAT, PEOPLE! IF YOU THINK WOMEN SHOULD BE GIVEN THE SAME OPPORTUNITIES AS MEN AND SHOULD GET PAID THE SAME THING? YOU'RE A FEMINIST, TOO!
