Ahaha, you have gradations in people who like yaoi though. I feel a little mystified myself when I hear people slashing people from Death Note. I do like pairing guys up when I think it would be a nice pairing, but sometimes I prefer the het to the slash, or sometimes I just don't pair off anyone.

But if anyone ever said to me whether ____ series would be better with more mansex and was serious about it, I'd hit them with fail macros. Ahahaha. That sort of thing is usually just better left in fanfiction and fanart.

I think it was more about the whole 'girl with a penis' thing than anything else, judging by the covers the secret portrays, but eh. XD

Oh, definitely, I don't think there's some huge group of "people who like yaoi" and then a giant moat between them and "people who like stuff that isn't yaoi," especially since I do like a little good yaoi or slash now and then and I just happen to love het and yuri more. But I do know a lot of people who only like yaoi or like it way more than anything else, and I'm fine with that but I don't really "get it." But I don't have to.

And yeah, I think that was what the secret is about.

(I think most of the people who say that are joking. But I still feel like "Not really" is a clueless answer on my part... XD. I usually try not to say anything though I've had decent discussions if I do.)

Eh, I used to be one of those people. I read all of the plotless yaoi manga, would only read yaoi stories, but I grew out of it, I guess? I prefer plots over smut now. So I can understand people who like only yaoi, but I think they're limiting themselves from other, equally interesting genres. Oh well, as long as they're happy. |D

Well, some people I know only like yaoi and they read only really good stuff. (Not that I think reading something plotless but hot is a sin -- I used to collect het doujinshi and it wasn't for the plot, and I'd probably still be doing it if I could afford it.)

So, yeah, as long as people are happy. I just feel like there's something I'm missing out on but it's not like there isn't plenty of good het and yuri out there for me to read.
