But--see, I don't think it's necessarily like that. Asking people to get along isn't the same as asking people to all share the same opinion XD;

I don't like AJ. I know people who like AJ, like say, you or Jessmacphisto here. I don't think any less of people for liking AJ, and I get along with them fine XD. That IS getting along--just not sharing the same opinion.

Disagreeing =/= not getting along, right?

Oh yeah, we know. We're just having a lark here, don't worry. And agreed! You don't need to have a similar opinion to get along with people, but lately all we've been seeing is are cases of people being all "RRAR YOU SUCK FOR LIKING IT/ YOU RULE FOR LOVING IT" and... well, I'm not sure how to categorize it, but in my opinion, that's just petty, you know?

And it's been happening a LOT with the PW fandom as of late, so it's just getting tiring. ._.

I don't like it, I make no secret of that, but I'm good friends with people who love it and their feelings on a video game that I happen to dislike really don't factor into that XD
