The first time I pointed it out in yesterday's post, I was told it was not a secret and there was no way it was recognizable. It wasn't just automatically fixed.

Is it because Wincest is so popular within the fandom? Are they afraid of getting lynched for saying so? We don't know, so the 'secret' part of the secret isn't clear in the least.

I would assume that is the jest, as a Supernatural fan. Like I said before, I don't understand secrets from fandoms I'm not involved in, either, but that doesn't make them not secrets.

I assume you mean gist, not jest...since I accidentally read that as you thought I was joking at first.

This is not a matter of it being misunderstood as a fandom the mods aren't involved in, this is a matter of there not being a secret there in the first place. I don't see it, the mods don't see it, and as with most secrets you shouldn't have to 'assume' at least some of the OP's reasoning behind the secret. It's not a secret, sorry, so stuff like that isn't likely going to be posted as such, SPN fandom or not.

Please explain to me why that is any more of a secret then the one in question. There is no explanation why that is a secret. I could make assumptions, but according to you, that is not how things should be done here.

...For one thing that secret is readable and doesn't come off as a sarcastic parody. But you're right, it doesn't explain, though it is easy to draw assumptions as to why the OP wants it a secret. Although, it is phrased as more of a confession than a rhetorical question, so that helps.

I conceede that my point on assumptions is moot, I suppose, especially also considering the amount of pointless 'I Ship It' secrets that get posted here as well, with no other explanation. My apologies for that line of debate.

The main problem I see with the secret, in my opinion (and I suppose this is what it boils down to in the end, is opinion), is that you see a secret there, and I do not. Compare the picture you posted above with the WHAT secret.

One is easily readable, with an easily identifiable character, and can be taken seriously...well as much as anything here can be taken seriously. And sounds more like a confession than simple statement.

The other has an actor in a series of questionable poses with really out-there bright pink font, asking a question that, combined with the pictures and the font, comes off as heavily sarcastic and bordering on parody. I'm sure one picture on it's own would have just been hot, but the whole secret just made him look exceedingly gay, hence the impression of sarcasm.

That is, I believe, the reason why the former was posted, and the latter was not.
