Jumping in to ask...even the creators of the toon ship it? PLEASE share some details. Because that is absolute win.

I'm not sure where I read it, but I think it was Paul Dini who said in an interview that he did think that there was something going on behind the scenes between the two. And of course, the art used in the secret? It's by the producer/character designer, Bruce Timm. And that's not the only (http://www.comicartcommunity.com/gallery/details.php?image_id=24052) shippy piece (http://www.comicartcommunity.com/gallery/details.php?image_id=24053) he drew. And even if all the subtext in the cartoon itself weren't enough, apparently the "Harley and Ivy" episode was going to be much more... interesting before the censors got their hands on it, including a comment by the Joker about being "busy beavers" that got changed to "busy bees".
