It's not like either the OP or Prince have any say in whether there's an afterlife, what it's like, or who goes there.

Sounds like a lot of folks in this thread have trouble with the JW concept of afterlife, not to mention the idea of an otherwise devout believer who has a few exceptions to official doctrine.

Prince was a Jehovah's Witness, though, right? So no afterlife for him. But who knows?! :D

As I understand it, JW's don't believe in Eternal Torment, but they do believe in Bodily Resurrection. So they have an idea of the afterlife, and it might even have electric guitars.

Great secret, OP. Don't mind the nitpickers. It's good to have another Prince secret. Lord knows there were tons of David Bowie secrets. I've been itching to post something comparing both, and how much weaker FS's reaction is to Prince, when he was as much of an androgynous, fashion-savvy, genre-defying musical innovator as DB but on top of that far exceeded him in musicianship and regularly and prominently employed female musicians. But he wasn't a Brit. Or white. So, no crocodile tears for him.

You know, if you can't praise Prince's accomplishments without negging on someone else's, that doesn't reflect well on either you or Prince. And Prince was awesome, so he doesn't really need you to do that.

Posting something yourself would have been an infinitely better solution than to make your entitled-poop in someone else's thread.

It's cause Prince was black AND a Jehovah's Witness. Less love for him.
