I don't think it is a morally wrong ship or anything (so I probably shouldn't have said anything), but its one of the few ships that genuinely squick me. But hey, if it happens it happens; it's not like I can do anything about it.

Both the main het ships squick me out horribly. At least people usually tag for slash pairings. It's nearly impossible to filter out entirely because half the time it's a phrase like "Kanan and his wife <3" and how am I supposed to filter that? Wife's just too common

Funnily enough, I don't want the person who becomes president to be the person I didn't vote for, either.

As someone whose only knowledge of rebels is the Season 2 (?) Finale, why do you think this? Short guy there just seems like Force-Sensitive Aladdin.

Because they're also Master and Padawan complete with all the "You're the most important person in my life" stuff. During the season 1 finale when the master guy thinks his padawan has died he goes into the fight saying that his greatest fear has happened and nothing worse could ever possibly happen to him.

Yeah a parent's worst nightmare is losing their kid. I personally ship Hera/Kanan and Leia/Ezra (though that's doomed to failure). Oddy I usually have a lot of same sex OTPs but there aren't really any that work for me in this series. I mean maybe Zeb/Kallus after Kallus' last episode.

He's an orphaned "Loth-Rat," who gets by on his wits as a thief until the Rebels take him in, and he relearns altruism.

I'm trying to finish up Clone Wars before starting Rebels but as someone who's currently obsessed with Obi-Wan/Anakin and Obi-Wan/Qui-Gon, I'm suddenly much more interested in getting into this cartoon haha.

Of course. I saw some people talking about creating an anti-Obi-Wan/Anakin and anti-Obi-Wan/Qui-Gon Attack Squad on tumblr but that hasn't gained any traction, probably because that part of the fandom is old. But since this is newer, it's probably a lot easier for the morality police to get their claws in.
