I definitely get where you're coming from and how that's frustrating. But FWIW I don't think you've ever come across as annoying here, and I genuinely wouldn't worry about it in general. You're cool, small fandom-ing is cool.

Lawrence-anon? You're definitely not annoying!

Personally, I like when people post about obscure stuff, whether it's fic or secrets or anything else. Sometimes it gets me into stuff I'd never have gotten into otherwise.

Lawrence-anon?

As I was scrolling down, I was thinking maybe something to do with Rudolph Valentino, but Lawrence-anon makes more sense!

Is this the T.E. Lawrence secret maker? If so, you're not annoying at all and I hope you find more people for your fandom. :)

It's only annoying if you do something repeatedly after they've already shown they're not interested. This wouldn't be annoying.

I don't know if it's your thing or not but if you like Old Hollywood you might get a kick out of Stuart Kaminsky's Toby Peters mystery series. Takes place in LA in the 1940s. The stories often feature actors and actresses--Errol Flynn, Peter Lorre, Mae West, Buster Keaton, Judy Garland, etc.

Thanks for the tip! :)

LoA might be a tiny fandom, but it is resilient and far from nonexistent! There's a whole bunch of people who'd appreciate your squee!

The camel is actually a reference to Road to Morocco! :)

now that's what I call relatable content. I'm in this spot right now actually with a franchise that has been going strong since the 70s, but there is just no fandom creating content except me (that I'm aware of) So I really feel you anon. :''''(
