Well, the incredibly short version of events is: I have not been well for a while now. I've also been staying over at him more because of mostly logistical reasons. And he feels I'm ungrateful for the things he does for me (and he does do things for me), but I feel what he perceives as "ungrateful", is just me not being enthusiastic, you know? Like me just being generally annoyed and worn down by life is perceived as some sort of personal insult. And I'l just too damn tired to fake enthusiasm, especially in what is supposed to be a private living space.

Is he saying he wants you to do/say something in particular to make it seem like you're more grateful? that sounds like it could mean a lot of things basically.

I hope things look up for you soon.
