I forever love Swiss Family Robinson. All desert island books really but that is kind of the ur for me. Castaway Planet is rapidly drawing even with it though, for being basically the same thing but in space, with girls.

Blue Castle. My favorite LM Montgomery book, something about it is just so beautiful and profound to me.

My Enemy My Ally is my favorite Star Trek book and I've read it annually since I was 12. I love Ael and the relationships between everyone and the world building.

The Little White Horse, I save for bad days because it transports me to another world like no other book does. It's so delicate and ethereal.

Starfighters of Adumar isn't my favorite Star Wars book but it makes me laugh like little else does.
