I know it is probably just dyed whip cream, but it looks delicious.

It probably tastes terrible, just fyi. They don't make food dye like they used to. That much coloration would definitely leave a very distinct bitter flavour, plus with the way it's holding its shape it's more likely whipped butter than whipped cream.

My money's on it not even being edible. Shaving cream or something similar. Lights would be too hot for cream or butter.

In food photography for magazines, they usually use mashed potatoes as a stand in for stuff like ice cream because it holds up better under the lights. It could be that, but even if it wasn't... didn't they eat it during the scene? So it'd have to be something edible. Shaving cream is a no go.

I feel like it's 100% sugar and I'd just feel awful afterward. The crsusts look good, though.
