I'm so tired of Tony and his over saturation. By the looks of things, CW has given more fuel to the "bawwww muh poor woobie Tony did nothing wrong, he had the hardest life out of everyone in the entire MCU, he understands *insert other woobie character's* pain better than anyone, Cap is such an asshole ubububu ;___;" side of fandom that I thought had finally been extinguished by AOU, so I'm already wary of that film. Thanks for shilling MCU's sacred cash cow even harder and not letting Cap be the hero in his own damn movie, Russo's.

Lol if anything, Tony stans got even more whinier with AOU.
After the movie came out, Tony's tag was filled with "TONY DID NOTHING WRONG YOURE ALL STUPID IF YOU THINK SO OTHERWISE PROTECT STARK AT ALL COST!!! uwu" type of posts for months. Civil War is just feeding into that stupid hivemind atm.
I'm still excited to see it, but I'm not looking forward to all the Tony stans and their collective freak out. :T

I'm not really into MCU fandom, so I'm not a huge stan for either character. But how can you defend Tony from AOU? I know he had good intentions, but they backfired, dude. I hope they carry that into CW, but I don't know how Tony doesn't come of of either one looking like he's not at fault of starting the problems.

NAYRT

In CW, Tony is VERY aware the he's to blame for AOU.

NA

Yes, and he proceeds to project his own issues all over the rest of the team, and make everything all about him. Meanwhile, with no actual consequences to him for his own actions.

If you don't count losing several friends as a consequence, sure.

(Anonymous) 2016-05-04 05:41 pm (UTC)(link)
Compared to actually being sent to prison, or having to live as fugitive, it's not that big a consequence.

(Anonymous) 2016-05-04 06:07 pm (UTC)(link)
No, but they chose to do the things that put them in those situations. Because they did what they thought was right. And Tony did what he thought was right.

It seems like you're pretty upset about Tony being a seriously flawed hero and his flaws having a negative impact on the world he exists in. I personally prefer his mess-ups having a lasting impact instead of the MCU resetting after every movie.

Could you be any more supercilious and condescending?

(Anonymous) 2016-05-04 09:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Grow a thicker skin, then it won't be so easy to hit your nerves.

SA

Like, seriously, I wasn't even trying to hit them. It's like you're just looking to be offended. By someone who isn't even a Tony fan, no less!

(Anonymous) 2016-05-05 04:07 am (UTC)(link)
For someone who claims to not be a Tony fan, you're awfully personally invested.

(Anonymous) 2016-05-05 06:04 am (UTC)(link)
Only because it's you, anon.
