Tom Baker was my first doctor and is still my favorite, but to each his own. I do think (now that I've seen all the doctors, old and new) that he always seemed the most 'alien' to me. His dismissive nature might be grating for others, but it always made me laugh. (Capaldi reminds me of Four occasionally, for the same reasons).
