Don't worry, if you're that set on team Cap, you'll have no problem seeing Tony as nothing but a villain, and I think you'll feel quite satisfied in the end. The large ensamble is *SPOILER*

only there for a small part of the movie, it's mostly just Steve and Bucky. And that small part is the only one that's funny, because Steve and Bucky are very gloomy and serious throughout the movie.
